How do I make the mousepad settings on my Sony VAIO work again?
It used to scroll and flip through internet pages and one day just stopped working. I tried fixing it with the mouse and point settings in control panel and through the driver in my computer and the old settings for the pad won't show up, it's the settings for a regular mouse. Also I've installed a wireless mouse with a usb, but my mouse pad still worked when I first installed it.

Have you installed anything on it recently? Or, did you reinstall windows? Maybe upgrade to Vista from XP by wiping the hard drive and doing a fresh install? If so, you lost the drivers to properly run that function. If none of the other special functions (like volume button above an F key) are working, then it is definitely drivers.
If this is the case, you have two options. 1) Call Sony and get a restore disk for the operating system you want to use or 2) Get the drivers on their website or by calling them.
