2006 mercruider 300 in a Chapparral 246ssi. Will Not turn over when turning ignition key. Battery = great. Lanyard = fine. Throttle is fine. Engine breaker is fine. Ignition breaker is fine. Starter locked up??? Replace ignition switch???
In your case I would have a marine mechanic take a look. It will be money well spent. This time of year we see starter failures and engines that have "frozen up" most often because of failure to winterize. Without knowing the history of your engine, it's purely a guessing game as to the possible issues.
A simple test light will quickly narrow things down. A remote starter switch connected directly to the starter might tell you a lot.
